Recently CNET performed testing of MediaShare. See attached PDF showing the comparison of MediaShare vs. Western Digital World Edition and HP MediaSmart Servers.
Other than the rich feature set which come with MediaShare the test results are testament to the high speed (1.2Ghz) processor and 256MB RAM included to improve backup and streaming performance.
